Payment Policy
Insurance
Our fees are comparable to those charged by other podiatrists in the Cleveland area. Payment of services rendered is due at time of visit unless other arrangements are made in advance. Our office will submit your claim with an itemized bill to your insurance company, provided all insurance information and claim forms are given to our staff at the time of your visit.
The patient may be responsible, however, for any monies owed that are not covered by insurance because of deductibles, copayments, or denials of payment. Services including routine foot care and orthotics are typically not covered by insurance. If any payment is due, you will receive notification through the mail approximately 60 days after the date of service or following a response regarding payment from your insurance carrier.
Please note that most podiatric services fall under the category of "Office Surgery" by the insurance carriers, including debridement of nails and corns/calluses. This is not a billing error but merely a classification that is used by insurance companies for podiatric services.
Your doctor accepts most insurance and will typically accept assignment if your deductible has been satisfied. However, please remember that you are financially responsible for all fees incurred by you or your dependents in our office regardless of coverage.
Your doctor is also a participating provider and accepts assignment with Medicare. Your doctor also accepts Medicaid and Workers Compensation.
Have a Question Regarding your Bill?
